- Checking spelling carefully
- Saving your artwork before ordering

Avoid screenshots or images copied from Facebook, Instagram or websites wherever possible.
What Resolution Should My Artwork Be?
For professional print quality we recommend:
300 dpi
Images below this resolution may appear:
- blurry
- pixelated
- soft
If you're unsure, send us your artwork and we'll be happy to advise.
RGB vs CMYK
Screens display colours using RGB.
Printers reproduce colours using CMYK.
Because of this, printed colours may differ slightly from what you see on your monitor or phone.
This is completely normal and applies to all commercial printing.
What Is Bleed?
Bleed is extra artwork extending beyond the finished edge.
We recommend:
3 mm bleed on all sides
This prevents white edges after trimming.
What Is the Safe Zone?
Keep all important content at least 3 mm inside the finished cut line.
This includes:
- logos
- text
- QR codes
- barcodes
- borders
This allows for normal commercial trimming tolerances.
Which Fonts Should I Use?
Choose clear, readable fonts.
Before exporting artwork:
- convert fonts to outlines; or
- embed fonts into PDFs.
Avoid extremely small text.
Can I Use My Company Logo?
Yes.
You should only upload logos you own or have permission to use.
By placing an order you confirm that you hold the necessary rights to reproduce your artwork.
Can You Print Copyrighted Logos?
Only where you have permission.
We may refuse orders containing:
- copyrighted artwork
- registered trademarks
- sports logos
- entertainment brands
- commercial logos
if appropriate permission cannot be demonstrated.
QR Codes
QR codes should:
- be high resolution
- remain within the safe zone
- be tested before ordering
Always scan your QR code before placing your order.
Barcodes
Ensure barcodes are:
- high quality
- correctly sized
- generated using reliable software
Stikaroo does not verify barcode functionality.
Will My Colours Match My Screen?
Not exactly.
Colour differences occur because screens display light while printing uses ink.
Small colour variations are normal within commercial printing.
Which Sticker Material Should I Choose?
Premium Matt Vinyl
Best for:
- outdoor use
- product labels
- bottles
- jars

- dry environments
- gift packaging

- indoor use

- curves

- seams
- handles
Always allow a small margin around the label.
