Foiling Process
We utilise toner reactive foil, a specialised type of foil employed in the techniques of foil stamping or foil transfer. This foil is specifically crafted to adhere to prints or images produced with toner-based systems. It finds widespread application in commercial printing, graphic design, and crafting projects, serving to enhance printed materials with metallic or decorative finishes.
The functionality of toner reactive foil hinges on the utilisation of heat and pressure to facilitate the transfer of the foil onto the toner. The foil is equipped with a heat-activated adhesive layer that securely bonds with the toner when exposed to heat and pressure. Typically, this process involves the utilisation of a hot foil stamping machine or a laminating machine equipped with a foil transfer setting.
